A private escape to paradise
Cerf Island Resort feels like a hidden gem with fine beaches and a tranquil atmosphere. The staff's attentiveness, ensuring every need was met. The snorkeling right from the hotel jetty was a highlight, with vibrant marine life surrounding us.
The limited Wi-Fi coverage was a bit challenging, especially when trying to connect with family back home. I also felt the dining options, although tasty, could benefit from more variety at times.

It had amazing and particularly good location near to Praslin and La Digue as well as the public areas. Stayed for 4 nights, the staff was superbly friendly and amiable during all this time. We had a villa with exceptionally comfortable bed and a mini bar fridge, climate control, and an individual safe.

Fabulous quiet and secluded location with great snorkelling and beach paradise. The villa was super comfy with an outdoor shower, and the service was really nice, especially those golf buggy rides to our spot. The staff are friendly and always helpful.
limited phone & wifi was annoying at first, and the food was ok but could be better.

Especially appreciated how they went out of their way to ensure our honeymoon was nice. The Hillside Villa offered fine views, and the complimentary kayaking added adventure to our stay. The breakfast selection could be more diverse.

beautiful location but food variety needs work
The Hillside Villa with its fine open-air bathroom offered a peaceful retreat. The infinity pool provided a perfect spot for relaxation, surrounded by amazing views of the garden and mountains. The complimentary use of kayaks for exploring the serene waters allowed for lovely adventures just off the beach.
The food provided lacked sufficient variety at times, leaving us wanting more options.

The accommodations were quite excellent, especially the spacious Hillside Villa with its open-air bathroom. Plus, the pool area was fantastic, and complimentary use of kayaks and snorkeling gear added to the fun.
The food was underwhelming. The menu lacked variety and quality, with dinners often with unremarkable dishes like tasteless cabbage or lentil soup. The breakfast offerings were also disappointing, with stale bread and limited choices. Housekeeping felt a bit lacking as well, with some areas needing more attention. Wi-Fi was spotty, only really working at the reception area.

I spent two nights at the Hideaway Villa with Private Garden. The room impressed me with its beautiful design and the peaceful atmosphere made relaxation easy. Nature surrounded the villa. The staff, especially Prakash, provided really good service. The complimentary use of kayaks and paddleboards was a nice touch, though one of the paddles was broken, made things a bit tricky. While the food exceeded my expectations, there were moments it could have offered more variety. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, filled with fresh tropical fruits and perfectly poached eggs. The dinner selections felt limited at times, lacking some local dishes I hoped to try. The Wi-Fi only reached the lobby. Despite that, the relaxing environment allowed for more quality time without distractions. The vibrancy of the marine life during snorkeling trips added to the fun. I appreciated the thoughtful design of the outdoor shower. Cerf Island is a lovely retreat, but the food variety and Wi-Fi coverage could improve .
